JVCKENWOOD are an international electronics brand specialising in a range of technologies, from in-car audio systems to in-ear headphones.
Distinctly were approached by JVCKENWOOD UK to launch their range of KENWOOD Dash Cams on Amazon in the UK. This involved setting up a Seller Central account and creating processes for logistics planning and financial reconciliation alongside arranging Brand Registry enrollment and assisting with design and implementation of A+ content, store pages and PPC ad campaigns.
What we delivered
We began by setting up a Seller Central account before moving on to creating product listings for the items we would be selling. This involved auditing any existing listings and developing copy for new listings.
Once our inventory was listed we reviewed options in terms of fulfilment. Whilst there are additional costs associated with Amazon’s FBA (Fulfilment by Amazon) program, the additional benefits are that Amazon has a robust logistics network that ensures prompt delivery to customers alongside dealing with any returns. Using the FBA program also meant our products would be eligible for Amazon Prime and, therefore, more likely to win the buy box.
The next step was to work on the implementation of A+ content for our product listings. This allowed us to add additional content to the listings in the form of high quality images and copy that would expand on the basic information already present on the listing. Alongside A+ content we also worked with the client to set up Store pages for the KENWOOD brand. As with the A+ content, this process involved identifying what pertinent information should be included and how it should be organised across the homepage and specific pages for individual and bundled products.
Alongside the Seller Central set up we also created PPC campaigns on Amazon Ads and tested targeting users by keyword and ASIN, alongside using broader category and automatic targeting options to identify new opportunities.
