Distinctly has officially been named one of the UK’s Best Workplaces™ for Wellbeing 2023 by Great Place to Work®, the global authority on workplace culture.

The ongoing support of physical health, financial health, social connection, mental health and digital health are some of the reasons why employees at Distinctly believe it’s a great place to work.

Some of our wellbeing initiatives that have aided our recognition include: Wellbeing Weeks, employee benefits package, a dedicated Employee Assistance Program, and a transparent and open culture.

Distinctly has its team’s wellbeing at the heart of its culture. We help our remote and hybrid workforce to manage feelings of stress and their personal health better, but also raise awareness of what contributes to their holistic wellbeing and give them easier access to both internal and external resources.

In order to rank the UK’s Best Workplaces™ for Wellbeing list, Great Place to Work’s culture experts analysed thousands of employee surveys and people’s holistic experiences of wellbeing at work. The surveys asked employees to comment on how their company supports their work-life balance, sense of fulfilment, job satisfaction, psychological safety and financial security. Evaluations also included an assessment of how well the organisation was able to deliver consistency of their employee experience across all departments and seniority levels.

Key areas of Wellbeing that we indexed highest in included:

  • This is a psychologically and emotionally healthy place to work.
  • I feel I make a difference here.
  • I can be myself around here.
  • People here are paid fairly for the work they do.

Our Operations and Culture Senior Manager, Jen Wlodkya commented: “It’s wonderful to be recognised as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces™ for Wellbeing. This award recognises the commitment we have in fostering a company culture that is conducive to our employees psychological, physical and social wellbeing. The whole team should be proud to have collectively made Distinctly such a great place to work.”

Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director of Great Place to Work® UK, adds: “At the heart of every organisation are its people and looking after their wellbeing should be much more than a package of impressive perks on a careers website. We know when employees feel genuinely contented and at ease within their roles, they are much more engaged and productive. Huge congratulations to Distinctly for making the UK’s Best Workplaces™ for Wellbeing’s prestigious list.”
