Salary: £30k – £40k + health insurance + 28 days holiday (plus bank holidays)
Based: Two days per week in our Old Street office (mandatory)
Are you passionate about all things SEO and organic search, and keen to make an impact within a forward-thinking, established team? We are on the lookout for an SEO Strategist – a dynamic individual with strong knowledge of SEO and what it means to generate visibility across all organic touchpoints for brands in an increasingly competitive search landscape.
You will work on a portfolio of clients as well as manage and execute SEO campaigns from start to finish, with the support of Account Directors and the wider team. You will be required to set an example for junior team members in approach and work delivery, mentoring and assisting in the training and development of others where needed.
We have a proven track record of nurturing talent and there is huge scope for you to progress within the agency. All SEO Managers in our team have been promoted from within. The role
- Deep analysis of clients’ websites, customers and markets to identify issues and opportunities
- Organic strategy development, working closely with our content, social and digital PR specialists to put a comprehensive plan in place
- Develop and implement SEO campaigns that support our clients’ business goals, including put not limited to:
- Technical SEO analysis
- Keyword research & mapping
- On page optimisation
- UX reviews & recommendations
- Ecommerce SEO tactics
- Familiarity with developments in AI Search, including ChatGPT, Perplexity & other AI platforms, as well as Google’s AI Overviews and AI Mode, with an understanding of how this will impact our clients
- Account management of a handful of accounts, alongside supporting managers on our larger accounts, including:
- Project planning using our project management tool
- Budget management
- Spotting upsell opportunities and discussing with a relevant manager
- Monthly reporting on results, effectively leading calls and reviews with clients
- Contribute to our team marketing efforts through some of the following: LinkedIn thought leadership, blog creation, webinars, external public speaking etc
The perfect candidate
- 2+ years agency experience, with a passion for all things search and a hunger to develop via independent learning & more formal training
- Strong data analysis skills and experience of using tools such as: GA4/Tag Manager/Search Console/Looker Studio, as well as 3rd party tools like Ahrefs, SEOmonitor, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Sitebulb etc. Familiarity with and/or testing of emerging AI tools would be a bonus
- Track record of delivering on organic objectives (traffic, leads, revenue, share of voice, AI visibility) for a range of clients in different industries, ideally with some B2C experience
- Strong understanding of the entire SEO process, with a desire to learn, test and communicate new ideas with the rest of the team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with both colleagues and clients

Our office is based in Old Street, London, and we operate a flexible hybrid model – you’ll be required to attend the office two days per week.
