Agency growth fuels recruitment drive

It’s been an exciting start to the year at Distinctly with some significant new client wins and some fantastic new additions to the team.

For a long time we have focussed on graduate recruitment and we have a great track record of nurturing talent and developing people in our team. With recent growth, the opportunities to give more graduates a start in their careers have increased and during these tough times it has been incredibly satisfying to offer a selection of bright and talented graduates the first step in their career.

Since the start of the year we have welcomed Rachel McHugh, a languages graduate from the University of Durham, Rob Hodgins, a history graduate from the University of Exeter and a masters graduate in digital Marketing from the international business school in Barcelona. Both Rachel and Rob have joined the SEO team and are working across our technical SEO, onpage and outreach teams. More recently, we have also welcomed Chloe Chamberlain, a psychology graduate from the University of Southampton. Chloe has joined our growing digital PR team to support content campaigns, research and outreach.

Whilst graduate recruitment is central to our people development, we also welcome exceptional school leavers on to an extended version of our graduate programme. Our first recruit on this programme was Tristan back in 2019.  We are now delighted to welcome Ellie Wilson to the Distinctly team. Ellie achieved straight As in her A levels last summer but decided that University was not a priority for her and sought out opportunities to start her career in a company where she could learn and grow. We are delighted that Ellie has joined Distinctly as a Digital Marketing Assistant supporting the SEO, digital PR and content teams.

In addition to entry level recruitment, we have also made some significant hires to our management team and will have more news on this shortly.
