The Brief

LBTA (London Beauty Training Academy) is the new school brought to us by LHAA (London Hairdressing Apprenticeship Academy). They offer anyone wanting to progress their career in the beauty and make up industry the chance to do so through a network of over 325 salons across London, Essex and Hertfordshire.

As a new brand, LBTA required SEO support from the ground up. This included the support and optimisation of the new site build, through to promoting the new service using both SEO and PPC.

The goal was to start appearing in the top 10 for competitive keywords such as “london beauty academy” and “beauty traineeship”.

What we delivered

LBTA launched in brand new premises in Chiswick with an exclusive event hosted by legendary stylist Patrick Cameron. Hairdressers throughout the world are always on the lookout for inspiration, as are those in the media within the hair and beauty industry.

We handpicked three leading bloggers to attend (at short notice!), who later, blogged and linked to the LBTA website. Natasha Todd, Fran from FrannyMac and Claudine from Nature’s Natural Hair were in attendance and helped make the event a fantastic success.

Only 4 months after their launch, LBTA were listed on Google for many of their target keywords and rankings continue to improve.
